Standard Nuclear is a leading independent advanced nuclear fuel company and the only U.S. company with industrial-scale TRISO manufacturing facilities to date, backed by production-grade equipment, proven processes, and infrastructure built for sustained, high-throughput output and scalable expansion. We design, engineer, and manufacture advanced nuclear fuels—principally TRISO fuel for the safer, more efficient, and more flexible reactors known as "Advanced Reactors," including certain SMRs and microreactors. We believe we are the only market participant currently positioned to develop and supply fuel for any developer of TRISO-based Advanced Reactors. We operate the only dedicated, privately funded, industrial-scale TRISO production line in the United States, and are producing and shipping fuel for Advanced Reactor demonstrations scheduled for 2026, with additional production facilities expected to come online in the second half of 2026.
Standard Nuclear is led by internationally recognized nuclear fuel expert Dr. Kurt Terrani, our Chief Executive Officer. Our technical team brings more than 150 years of combined U.S. National Laboratory experience developing, fabricating, and testing advanced fuels, and many members previously held critical leadership roles in the U.S. Department of Energy's advanced gas reactor program—the effort that established the modern TRISO fuel standard now accepted by the NRC. We believe this elite team, together with our ownership and operation of facilities licensed for large-scale TRISO fuel manufacturing, positions us to deliver advanced nuclear fuel to a rapidly growing industry.
